That'll teach me to keep my big mouth shut! - Trackback Spam Part II
Remember how I was blogging about the virtues of integrating trackback and spam modules? Well, looks like I was extoling the virtues of this combination too early. :-(
Over the past few days some friendly individuals decided that it would be a good idea to leave some trackbacks to my blog posts directing users to various sites with pictures of sexual nature or proclaiming the advantages of enlarging various body parts. I just spent a bit of time deleting these.
I'm not sure how they got past the spam filter, as they appeared pretty obvious to me, but that'll be a subject for investigation for the comming weekend. I have however now applied mandatory approval to all trackbacks. Please note: this means that your trackbacks will not appear immediately after you post them, as they will have to be approved by myself first.
